Sea Point Flat

Cape Town

User friendly design for a compact flat.

Our client wanted a simple apartment where he could spend time on holidays or while working in Cape Town. We concentrated our proposal on maximizing the space and creating enough storage to suit his needs. We selected materials that are easy to maintain and that won’t outdate easily. The design is uncluttered - bringing tranquility and calm into the middle of the city.

Woodstock House

A Victorian house gets a young owner.

These semidetached old houses are beautiful but impractical. The floor plan is usually elongated and narrow. Our client wanted to create open spaces where they could socialize. Without removing the character of the house, we connected some of the rooms. By doing so, we created a more fluid transition between various spaces, allowing for a vivid interaction between the kitchen and the lounge.

Green Point Flat

A classical flat gets some fresh air.

Partly renovation, partly restauration, this is the result of a project that took place after a devastating fire that destroyed 70% of this flat. We sourced or re made all the original elements of the building. We also added some contemporary furniture into the mix. We altered the original floor plans a bit to improve the circulation and use of each space.
